Simply Tony . . . The Man
"What comes from the heart, reaches the heart."

Born in the state of Nevada his musical interest began as a child, he played nearly all the musical instruments but ultimately fell in love with the guitar. His relocation to Northern California enabled DeWayne to combine a mixture of flare and mellow soul to his music. Tony DeWayne has been performing as a professional artist for may years. He posses a degree in creative arts and music composition from Sonoma State University and is an extremely talented and extraordinarily gifted musician, vocalist, and composer.

Like other members of the creative arts, he is artistically influenced by the luminous sounds of the multi-talented Stevie Wonder, the legendary extraordinary jazz guitarist George Benson, the passionate, electrifying blues guitarist Carlos Santana, the powerful, uplifting, and inspiring music of Ray Charles, and the impermeable arranger-composer and producer Quincy Jones. Carly Simon influenced some of his songwriting techniques and his soothing style of guitar playing. DeWayne demonstrates his versatility as a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and arranger. He is the creative force of Diamond Cut Productions and Mo’Soul Records. Often times DeWayne can be observed for hours in sheer ecstasy strumming the strings of his favorite guitar, affectionately known as, “Daddy’s Li’l Girl” a.k.a., “Chocolate Boo.”
